A) Berths & Drafts
Saqr Port attributes includes 3 container berths & 1 RORO berth, each 200 meters long.
Draft: 12m (at mean low water spring tide).

B) Equipment Mix
Saqr Port is fully equipped to handle all types of cargo. Indeed the port’s stevedoring equipment has been completely renewed and now delivers the fastest loading and discharge rates in the UAE. It includes:

• 3 x Liebherr ship-to-shore gantries;
• 1 x MHC Fantuzzi Reggiane 100mt mobile crane on site;
• 6 x rubber tyre gantries (RTGs) enabling 1 over 5 stacking;
• 1 x reach stacker;
• 1 x empty container handler;
• 1 x 10mt forklift;
• 3 x 3mt forklifts;
• 13 x terminal tractors and assorted trailers;
• 2 x Ro-Ro tractors; and
• 144 reefer points supplying 3 phase, 380 volts, 50 cycles electricity;

	Container Terminal Area: 200,000 sq.m.
	Storage Area: Five transit sheds with a total covered storage area of 40,000 m2 and a vast open storage area in adjacent yards.
	Refrigerated space/storage area with reefer plug points is also available.
