Section – A
1.0  LOADING/DISCHARGING OF CONTAINERS

2.0 HAZARDOUS CONTAINERS
2.1 Containers loaded with hazardous cargo will be charged the following:
Applicable THC plus 50 % of the respective handling charge.
Note: Above not applicable for Transshipment Containers and import LCL destined to Port CFS only.
2.2 Containers with undeclared, poorly stowed or incorrectly packaged dangerous goods will receive fines ranging from AED5,000/- to AED20,000/- per offence, depending on the seriousness of the offence and the extent of the violation of the safety aspect.
2.3 Leaking Containers Any container found leaking shall be shifted to “Leaking Container Area” (LCA). After inspection, and if necessary, Hazmat Operation shall be carried out. The cost of cleaning the terminal, property and equipment, resulting from spilled cargo, and the subsequent clean-up operations, will be for the line’s account.
The charges will be as follows:-
a. Inspection of Container AED 170/- per Container.
b. Hazmat operation, if required AED 750/- per hour or part thereof. Cost of material, labour and equipment will be additional.
c. Leaking Container Monitoring AED 175/- per day or part thereof.

All charges will be billed to the respective line’s shipping agent.
2.4 In an emergency, if stand by Fire and/or Security is required, charges will be raised on a case by case basis.

4.0 SHIFTING OF CONTAINERS
Where a shift is required within the Container Terminal which is not included in the rate as described in 1.0 the service will be charged as follows:

4.1 Truck loading/Unloading charge.
Truck loading and unloading charges applies to all containers, regardless of size, that are delivered at the terminal gate.

5.0 USE OF SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
The use of “emergency gear” (wires or chains) for each lift during container handling operations will be charged at the rate of AED 250/- per container in addition to the appropriate THC.
6.0 WEIGHING OF CONTAINERS
Weighing containers while entering or leaving the Terminal on non-port transport and furnishing weighbridge ticket – charged at the rate of AED 50/- per ticket.
7.0 CONTAINER LOADED IN EXCESS OF RATED CAPACITY
Should the Port Operators equipment or crane be used to lift, move or transport a container which is loaded in excess of the container’s rated capacity, the party or parties causing such unauthorized use shall be held liable for all losses, claims, demands and suits for damages, including death and personal injury, and including legal and court expenses, directly or indirectly resulting from such unauthorized use.
8.0 CONTAINER STORAGE RATES

10.0 STUFFING OR UNSTUFFING AT CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION (CFS)
10.1  LCL/FCL containers stuffed/unstuffed at Terminal CFS     AED 225/- per TEU.
10.2  LCL/FCL container unstuffed at Terminal CFS, if NOT advised prior to arrival of Vessel - AED275/- per TEU.
Note:   1) The above rate does not include the shifting charges.
           2) This rate is inclusive of the change of designation charge.
10.3  Where the contents of the container is 100% palletized then, LCL/FCL container stuffed/unstuffed at Terminal CFS - AED200/- per TEU
10.4  Removing from CFS to trailer or vice versa - AED15/- per frt ton
10.5  LCL sorting to submark - AED 15/- per frt ton
11.0 MONITORING OF REFRIGERATED (REEFER) CONTAINERS   
Monitoring charge per day (24 hours or part thereof) - AED120/- per container.
Charge commences from the date of discharge. This charge is in addition to the applicable THC. This rate also applies for transshipment containers.


Note: This charge covers plug/unplugging and monitoring of temperature. No maintenance will be performed on malfunctioning reefers. The Terminal operator will notify the cargo agent of any malfunctions as soon as discovered. The Terminal operator will not assume responsibility for power failure.
12.0 STANDBY TIME, DELAYS AND CANCELLATION OF CRANES

12.01  Delays to Crane : after the first 30 (thirty minutes)  AED 1,500/- per hour, or part thereof, will be charged.

12.02  Cancellation / Postponement of Berthing : advanced notice of 24 (twenty four) hours must be given to the Terminal when there is a cancellation or delay to berthing.  This advanced notice must be given in writing by the Master, the Vessel’s Owner, or Agent.  If this notice is not duly received then the Terminal reserves the right to invoice the Vessel’s Owner or Agent a minimum charge of AED3,000/- per crane booked.  

13.0 CLEANING OF CONTAINERS & LABELS
13.1 Cleaning 20 ft container AED 30/-

Note:   Items 13.4 excludes the cost of the placard/mark, which will be charged in addition to the above.

17.0 UNDELIVERED CONTAINERS – AUCTION / DISPOSAL
Containers containing goods destined for public auction will be released only after all shifting, unstuffing and storage charges have been received. These charges are for account of the Shipping Line. Abandoned goods will be auctioned by the Port Authority after 90 days. In the case of perishable goods (like food stuff) goods will be auctioned after 60 days, or earlier, as circumstances stipulate.
18.0 RO-RO VESSELS AT THE CONTAINER TEMINAL
All containers will charged at container tariff rates.
19.0 STORAGE OF RO-RO TRAILERS AND FLATS
Ro-Ro Trailers and Flats will be billed at the appropriate container storage rate as set out in item 8.0
20.0 CONDITIONS AND SERVICES

20.1 The above rates (items 1 & 2) are based on the following conditions and services:That the loading or discharging is not delayed or interrupted by containers not ready for handling.

20.2 That the reporting and documentation is in accordance with existing rules and regulations.

20.3 Transshipment containers, full or empty, count as one move only.

20.4 Direct delivery is not allowed except under special circumstances, with the prior approval of the Terminal operator.

20.5 Discharging – One Container move from stowed position in Vessel to point of rest in marshalling yard.Loading – One Container move from point of rest in marshalling yard

20.6 Loading - One Container move from point of rest in marshalling yard to point of stowed position in Vessel.

20.7 Transshipment – One move from stowed position in Vessel to point of rest in marshalling yard and one move from point of rest in marshalling yard to position in Vessel.

20.8 Lashing and unlashing, provided that all lashing are of the quick release type, and are supplied by the Vessel; and excessive under deck lashing is not required.

20.9 Free storage of Transshipment and Empty Containers for 30 days, Import Containers for 10 days and Export Containers for 10 days.

20.10 Cranage, tractors, grounding and stacking equipment and labour as required.

20.11 For Containers entering Port property from Vessels across the quay, the port related charges is covered in the normal Terminal Handling Charge.
For Containers entering and/or leaving Terminal property over the road through Port gates, the PRC will be billed to the shipping line at a level equal to the amount applicable to the appropriate Tariff THC (standard or discounted). This schedule of services and the respective tariffs is not exhaustive. Other services may be provided and tariffs may be fixed based on discussion, and on a case to case basis. In any case the Terminal operator reserves the right to amend, add to or delete any of the services, and charges, or both, which are specified in the schedule

SECTION – B
EQUIPMENT HIRE RATES
1.0 CONTAINER GANTRY CRANE
    Per hour or part thereof

2.0 MOBILE CRANES
a) Mobile Harbour Crane Heavy lift – upto 80 tonnes - AED 2,500/-
The rental of Mobile Harbour Cranes is subject to the availability and weights/distances to be lifted.
3.0 FORKLIFTS

Note: All above equipment rates are inclusive of driver and fuel, but do not include insurance which is the responsibility of the party hiring the equipment.
During overtime period, Driver/Operator overtime rate @ Dhs 50/- per hour or part there of will apply. Special discount will be offered when mobile cranes or equipments are hired for longer period.
Section C
RO/RO - AUTOMOBILES AND SELF-PROPELLED WHEELED &
TRACKED VEHICLES

1.0 PORT HANDLING
VEHICLES
Up to and incl 1.5 tonnes AED 140/unit

15 tonnes and over Plus AED 4/- per additional freight tonne AED 385/unit

Above rates cover the movement of vehicles from vessel side to a point of rest in the marshalling area for import units, and vice versa for export units.  

The above rates do not include stevedoring charges.

STEVEDORING
To load or discharge self propelled wheeled and tracked units from vessel to quay side, or vice versa:
2.1  Self Propelled Unit

Between 3 & 10 metric tonnes AED 65 per unit
Above 10 & upto 50 metric tonnes AED 155 per unit
Above 50 & upto 70 metric tonnes AED 645 per unit

1.10. a) Trailer and/or vehicles loaded on top of other units shall be charged as individual units.
1.10. b) General Cargo loaded on any unit shall be charged at the general
cargo rate of AED 8/ Freight Ton. The trailer shall be charged as per item 101.5 or 101.6
TRANSSHIPMENT VEHICLES
2.1 Transshipment RO/RO vehicles or units will be charged at 150% of the above rates in Item 1.0.
2.2 Where the on-carrying vessel is berthed at a berth other than that at which the transshipment cargo was landed, then any additional costs for moving the cargo will be paid in addition to those under 2.1 above, at the discretion of the terminal operator.
CONDITIONS
The above rates do not include additional stevedoring charges and are based on the following conditions and services.
a) All motorized units are to be capable of starting and being driven off the Vessel under their own power to the final point of rest in the marshalling yard.
b) All wheeled units shall have sufficient air in their tires to be safely driven off the Vessel. The Terminal will not be responsible for damaged tyres for those units which are removed or shifted with flat or under-inflated tyres.
c) Above rates cover movement of vehicle from ship-side to a point of rest in the marshalling yard for import units, and vice versa for export units; and from ship-side to marshalling yard and back to ship-side for transshipment units.
d)  Above rates are applicable in the event that pickup truck drivers are loading/ discharging vehicles on the trucks themselves.
3.0 STORAGE CHARGES – VEHICLES

4.0 STARTING IMMOBILE PLANT
4.01 For each call out and start of first machine due to mechanical defect - AED125/- per hour or part thereof
4.02 For each call out and start of first machine due to battery deficiency - AED50/- per unit
4.03 Where work other than simple starting is required, labour, materials and fuel will be charged at cost plus 15%.
5.0 SPECIAL SERVICES
5.01 Towing or special rigging for discharge or load of RO/RO Cargo - AED250/-per unit.
5.02 Shifting of RO/RO units within the ship or via Quay - AED125/- per unit.
6.0 Special terms may be negotiated for large shipments of RO/RO re-exports and transshipments.
