1. Full and Empty Container Terminal Yards:
310,000 m2. with available capacity of 3,500 TEU ground slots for full containers and 3,000 TEU ground slots for empty containers based on straddle operations for full containers and empty stackers operations for empty containers.
(Currently, 30% is being temporarily occupied by the US Army till 2008).

2. Empty Container Terminal Park & for short and long storage:
a.Outside the port: 56,000 sq.m with 2,000 TEUS ground slots
b.Inside the port: 42,000 sq.m. with 1,500 TEUS ground slots

3. Open and covered areas for RoRo units storage:
a.Outside port limits & inside Shuaiba area: 40,000 sq.m.
b. Inside port area: 20,000 sq.m.

4. E xchange Area for containers & RoRo units:
This 90,000 sq.m. is located outside Shuaiba area limits, next to the trucks parking lot and is custom designed for container movement from inside the terminal area to outside the port security gate. It has a daily capacity of 294 TEUs for empty containers and 144 TEUs for full containers or 180 RoRo units.

5. Covered Cargo Shed Facility:
a.Shed No. 1: Secured enclosed area of 7,500 sq.m. - KGL PI utilizes 2,250 sq.m.
b.Shed No. 2: Secure enclosed area of 6,000 sq.m. - KGL PI utilizes 2,500 sq.m.

6.Customs & Bonded Area: Available in the port area.

7. Navis:
SACT is equipped with “Navis” to support our container operations with stowage planning, terminal receiving and delivery and online customer retrieval of information’s to track availability of their cargos thru “WEB ACCESS” facility.
